PESCARA Nerikomi & Neriage Vessel #P3
This vessel captures the feeling of a Pescara summer, where the geometry of the built coastline meets the constant movement of the sea.
The interior is constructed in nerikomi, with clearly defined, graphic stripes arranged in a structured, almost architectural rhythm, evoking the ordered lines of piers, promenades, and sun-bleached concrete. In contrast, the exterior surface flows more freely, like eroded coastal rock shaped by wind and water, with soft marbling that suggests heat, salt, and slow movement. The cut openings framed in red act like windows or passages, allowing the eye to move through the form and linking the disciplined inner geometry with the organic outer landscape.
